Description
An impressionist/abstract painting of two magpies – “Two for Joy” as in the nursery rhyme and as they mate for life. Maligned by some revered by others, I love magpies and have done a series of work on them – see my portfolio page on magpies.
Acrylic paint, watercolours and gold acrylic paints, on a textured background. Finished with sprayed varnish.
Painted on stretched canvas. Sides painted white. Hooks and wires will be added to back before sending.
