Description
A limited edition, museum quality, reproduction for this charcoal drawing of a scene at the end of the ‘vendanges’ in Morey-Saint-Denis, of the team at Domaine Hubert Lignier.
The drawing shows a traditional ‘ban bourguignon’ with hand claps being sung in the vines after the final grapes have been harvested.
The owners and other workers at the domaine came to the vines to join in the refreshments and celebrate with the harvesters. This moment is just before the group continue the celebrations around the village on decorated trucks.
The reproduction is individually printed by the artist using Canon pigmented inks (fine art quality and known for their longevity) with a professional Canon printer, on 29.7×42 cm (A3), 310gsm Canson Infinity Fine Art paper – Arches Aquarelle Rag. The Canson paper is a textured paper and ‘pure white’ although does not contain any optic brighteners.
This limited edition has a total of only 6 prints. Each print is annotated and signed by the artist in pencil on the front of the paper. An embossed seal is on the reverse. It is presented in a mount with a backing board and the whole put inside a cellophane pocked. It also comes with an artist generated Certificate of Authenticity.
